Creating websites that people want to use is just thoughtful.
Thoughtful Web design websites that embrace the latest technology and adhere to established web standards. Websites that are appealing, look professional and tick all the boxes. However, the most important thing Thoughtful does is to make websites that people want to use.
It sounds like such a simple precept, but it really doesn’t need to be any more complicated. If a user finds a website easy-to-use, then they will use it. It is as simple as that. Sure, it needs to look nice and be ‘on brand’, but with over 20 years experience we have that covered too.
We’re designers
In fact, this approach works so well our clients often ask us to apply the same logic to their print. After all, we are trained graphic designers. From business cards to adverts – we can help create, enhance or maintain your brand across all your communication collateral.
Simon Leadbetter
Shortly after graduating, Simon started work for a small design agency in his chosen profession of Graphic Design. Then after a couple of years, this thing called the Internet burst onto the scene and in 1995 his biggest client at the time asked him to build them a website. Simon soon realised that this was a cool way to earn a living and, since that day until now, he has never stopped.
In those intervening 17 years, Simon has designed and launched numerous websites (and many other digital projects) for major international festival, theatres, museums, charities, government (Department for International Development), SMEs and the occasional corporate.
In 2011, after seven years service, Simon decided it was time to to hang up his hat as Web Manager at Cog Design and become Thoughtful Web.
Julian Stopps is Thoughtful Web’s technical partner and he provides invaluable support for most of our projects. Everything from managing complicated hosting requirements, custom coding to building Web Apps.
With Julian’s technical expertise, we are able to manage and deliver larger projects that have complex requirements.
